Although President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama will bid a fond farewell to the White House in January, they will still be in the neighborhood. While youngest daughter Sasha completes high school, the Obamas will live in a beautiful 8,000 sq ft home about two miles from the White House. Although I’m sure nothing compares to the experience of living in the White House, the Obamas’ new home ain’t too shabby. Let’s take a peek inside shall we?
Inside the Obamas’ Post Presidential Pad
The Obamas’ new home, located in the exclusive D.C. neighborhood of Kalorama, was built in 1928 and has nine bedrooms and eight and half bathrooms.
THE McFADDEN GROUP
The Tudor style home has a spacious living room and dining room, a finished downstairs family room/media room as well as au-pair suite.

The Obamas’ new home also has an oversized terrace with formal gardens, and a courtyard with enough space for the First Lady to plant a small vegetable garden.
